WOMEN UNDER HITLER'S FLAG
A documentary by CHRISTIANE RATINEY

Their names were Herta, Liesel, Liselotte, Hildegard... They were secretaries, nurses, concentration camp guards or wives of SS officers. They were among the hundreds of thousands of women to actively serve the Nazi ideology by joining the lands conquered by the Third Reich from 1939 onwards.
Through their destinies, it’s a little-known area of the Second World War which is brought to light: the involvement of women in criminal Nazi policies. Far from being only passive witnesses of a genocide carried out by men, they turned out to be also accomplices, and even murderers.
