On 3rd November 1996, 14 men and 2 women took up the Vendée Globe challenge. They set up for the only non-stop solo race around the world. The planet’s most hostile seas awaited them. They didn’t know it yet, but this third edition was about to turn into a nightmare. Twenty-five years later, this odyssey still resonates deeply within them.
